Convert Java Worlds to Bedrock (Playable on iPhone)
Java Edition and Bedrock are two different world formats. A conversion rebuilds your Java world as a Bedrock.mcworld as faithfully as possible, but some Java-only content has no one-to-one equivalent. Being honest about that is at the heart of this feature. We never promise "100% lossless." We give you a compatibility score up front, then tell you item by item exactly what was replaced or changed once it's done—no surprises.
Step-by-step
- Open the Java world and diagnose it.Import your Java world ZIP. The diagnostic recognizes it as Java Edition and flags it as "needs conversion."
- Review the compatibility score.Before you pay, you see a compatibility score and which content carries over intact (terrain, blocks, containers, structures) versus what may need to be replaced.
- Confirm and convert.Once you confirm, the conversion runs (pay-per-use) and outputs an importable .mcworld. Failed jobs are refunded automatically; pricing is whatever the app shows.
- Read the item-by-item change report.When it's done you get a readable report that lists, item by item, every entity, block, behavior/resource pack, or piece of player data that was replaced or changed.
- Import into Bedrock.Import the generated .mcworld into Minecraft Bedrock (including iPhone / iPad) and start playing.
Usually carries over
- Terrain and elevation
- The vast majority of common blocks (including stairs, leaves, walls, fences, torches, liquids, waterlogged states, and more)
- Chests and other containers, along with their structural layout
May be replaced or moved to the report
- Java-only entities and blocks
- Behavior packs / resource packs, and some redstone behavior
- Player data and certain container contents
When a block has no equivalent, we place a visible placeholder and note it in the report instead of swapping it silently—so you always know what happened.
